Project A: Helping People Improve Protection Performance Against COVID-19
We share some technologies and information, which can help people to improve protection performance against COVID-19.
Porous Mask Brace
The technical details of replicating a porous mask brace have been released before. This kind of brace is easy to be replicated manually and can increase the performance of surgical masks by several times, even more than 10 times!
New Generation Masks
Some types of new generation masks can be fabricated manually by common people. Although the cost of manual manufacturing is higher than that of assembly line, it can make up for insufficient supply in the event of an outbreak.
Cognitive Blind Spots
Some cognitive blind spots about masks have been revealed before, more information would be shared to help people to avoid accidental infection.
Project B: Large-Scale Controlled Trials of New-Generation Respirators
In 2~10 regions around the world, we will cooperate with local governments and research institutions to launch large-scale controlled trials to evaluate the impact of a variety of new generation respirators on the vaccine effectiveness and the infection rate of different groups.
These trials require 0.2~1 million people to participate. The results of the trials will provide reference for the local government's epidemic prevention policy. Through information sharing and results comparison, the local government can adopt the most appropriate epidemic prevention measures.
For example, in a country with a high vaccination rate, new-generation respirators with different APF are distributed to volunteers including fully vaccinated and unvaccinated. By comparing the daily infection rates of different groups, we can find that what percentage of people need to wear masks and what level of masks required to be worn can effectively control the epidemic.
A curve similar to the following “Vaccine Efficiency VS Relative Amount of Virus Inhaled Curve” can be obtained. It will be more economical and effective to improve its vaccine efficiency after finding the “sweet spot” on the curve.

To obtain a more accurate curve, it is recommended to use the same PAPR, but the filter efficiency is different, which can avoid the serious influence of mask wearing habits on the results.
Project C: Popularization of New-Generation Respirators in 1~2 Countries
Cooperate with 1 or 2 countries, with a total population of no more than 5 million, to popularize the new generation respirators.
We estimate that when more than 90% of people wear the new generation masks, the local epidemic will end soon. During the global epidemic, only occupational groups with a high risk of coronavirus infection (accounting for 1%~5% of the total population) are required to wear new generation respirators to avoid another outbreak.
Since a non-profit model is employed for promotion, the spend of epidemic prevention in these countries will be significantly reduced than before.
Project D: Popularization of New-Generation Respirators Among Health Workers
Cooperate with governments and hospitals in some countries to popularize the new generation respirators among health workers around the world, and strive to achieve zero infections as much as possible in the new wave of pandemics and avoid the collapse of the medical systems.
Project E: Localized Production of New-Generation Masks
Cooperate with some countries to train technicians in the field of respirators, and realize the localized production of new generation masks.
Localized production can not only avoid supply interruption due to the sudden outbreak of the epidemic, but also reduce costs and even export on a large scale.
To produce new generation masks that meet the needs of 2 million people, the total investment is estimated at 1 million US dollars. After making a profit, production can be expanded. If there are hundreds of millions of people in neighboring countries, it can provide employment opportunities for thousands of people in the host country.
Three Models to Distribute New-Generation Respirators in Noah's Ark Projects
In these projects, some new-generation masks are traded at the price of surgical mask, and other new-generation respirators are given away for free.
Pure Donation Model
Some new-generation respirators (including PAPR) will be given away for free, mainly for health workers in low-income countries. We will donate part of the profit in the form of products to these people in need.
Those who need to get free new-generation respirators, please contact us before the end of this month, so that we can arrange the order of accessories and raw materials in time.
Loan-Donation Model
When we get a loan from a certain country, we will donate to the country new generation respirators of the same value. It's like we use future profits for donations. This model is mainly aimed at countries that urgently need new generation respirators and have reached cooperation.
Low Profit Plus Donation Model
Some new-generation masks are traded at the price of surgical mask, and a certain proportion of new-generation PAPR are given away for free to the buyer at the same time.
$5 million VS $30 million
These projects can help some countries end the epidemic at a small cost.
For example, 1 million sets of new-generation masks (each set has one double-frame with 100 pieces of filters), better than 100 million pieces of N95 mask, are traded at 5 million dollars. In additional, 50,000 sets of new-generation PAPR will be given away together. These new-generation respirators can help a country with a million population end the epidemic in a short period of time. Afterward, only occupational groups with a high risk of coronavirus infection are required to wear new-generation PAPR to avoid another outbreak.
If this country prevents the epidemic in the usual way, it needs to spend at least 25 million dollars for vaccines and at least 5 million dollars for conventional masks each year. Moreover, it's not certain whether the epidemic can be ended.

Winter is coming, we need to be prepared.
Only if more people are willing to make sacrifices can the disaster be avoided.
